Complete College America works on the ground with legislators, higher education organizations, and universities to effectively implement new policies proven to increase college graduation rates. The goal of this project, in which I lead UX Design while contracting with Free Range, was to leverage the power of digital to help scale their team’s impact and build a movement.
CCA sought to elevate the experience of their current website by telling an immersive story on their homepage about the college completion gap, allowing users to create a profile and save resources, and using networking to build a community. Extensive wireframing helped us come to an agreement on both the story we wanted to tell and how we wanted users to interact with the content on site. One challenge was accommodating various user types, requiring permissions and unique user profiles. We also added features for reading content and cross referencing blog posts and resources with step by step programs for their initiatives. These added features required extensive wireframing and UX expertise.
